"A great place to enjoy the taste of Scotland. Amazing food, friendly staff and fast service. The food was super tasty and fresh, great selection of Scottish whiskies. If you stay at Loch Ness or just passing by you must stop and enjoy the food here."
"Highly popular restaurant with good reason. Had the best haggis I've ever had here, it really is an amazing little dish, as was the whiskey sponge dessert. Luckily we got a table as there were a lot of people waiting outsiders and we didn't have a reservation, would recommend making one! We were first in the door and they were very attentive to our needs of finding a space to park the pram and a high chair, really lovely service."
"I had dinner with friends at Friedler’s Highland Bar Restaurant and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent—the soup I had was especially delicious. The whole evening, with dinner and drinks, made for a very good experience. I’d recommend giving this place a try."
"Our driver suggested this restaurant for lunch during our travels through the Highlands. We had the venison and bacon chili which was just okay - too smoky and gamey for my taste. Service was very good and it is a cozy place for lunch."
"This was honestly the best experience we had in Scotland. We've been to pubs and restaurants throughout the country but nothing beat this little place. They didn't have a table for us but managed to squeeze us in, even earlier than planned thanks to the amazing and funny stand-in manager Sam (we we're lucky to meet him since he doesn't work here anymore, he was only helping out since most of the staff were working off-site at a festival). Everything in town was fully booked and he was our savior. The food was amazing (try the haggis!!), the menu with its whiskey pairings was well thought out, the place was cozy with so many different whiskeys to choose from and all the staff were attentive and so so friendly, though I only got the name of Millie, who was a sweetheart. Cannot recommend this place enough. If you're staying nearby or just passing through, you won't be disappointed visiting Fiddlers! Once again, big thanks to Sam, who went out of his way to get us a table and the rest of the staff who, together, made our stay unforgettable for us. This is the exact experience we wanted from our trip!!"
"I had the steak and it was DELICIOUS! That was the best steak I had in my life. Juicy, flavorful, cooked to a perfect medium inside. My party will be talking about it for days, and those that did not get it will be rolling their eyes at those of us who did for talking it up so much. The Dessert Whiskey Flight was a nice finish to a wonderful meal, if you like whiskey."
"This restaurant came highly recommended by our host at our nearby B&B. I booked a reservation a few months in advance since I was with a group of 7. It was set for their opening time for dinner service at 5:30pm. We were greeted and seated immediately when they opened. Their selection of whiskey is actually insane. My husband thoroughly enjoyed all of his selections. We both got the steak with our choice of sauce. I thought the peppercorn sauce was fantastic paired with our perfectly cooked steaks. I know all the other members of our group enjoyed their meals as well. A special shout out to the haggis appetizer as it was the only haggis dish I actually really, really enjoyed! So if you're hesitant to try it, definitely try THIS one! There's also a bar and food truck attached so if you're there a little bit earlier than they open, you can have a drink or a light snack while you wait!"
"The steak was AMAZING, this was by far the best steak I have ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection (medium) and full of flavor. I would definitely recommend this steak and restaurant to anyone visiting the area. The Dessert flight was also AMAZING (even though I didn't drink any of the whiskeys) the food was outstanding."
